Pros

It's big and heavy, but perfect for 5 - 7 day trips or a major power outage. Very easy to carry with the solid molded in handles. This cooler is very robust in construction.

It has a couple scratches and a rusty fish hook stain but performs like it’s new. No spoiled meat or skunked beers to report. Very durable and kept ice for several days.

The latches are awesome compared to the rubber straps on other brands. Love the lid locks so much better than the rubber pull ones.

The ice lasts up to 7 days and with adding a bag on occasion it maintains ice cold temps. Putting warm items in will increase the overall temperature of the interior and melt your ice.

Cons

I'm not sure what the heck pelican is thinking regarding something as simple as a drain cap.

Spend the extra $50 and go with the yeti. No retention rod on a 300 dollar cooler is a dealbreaker for me.
