Pros

I have old dachshunds that are picky and when i say old, they just turned 12. I have a papillion and a chihuahua, and they love it! More so than many other chows. It fills my baby up and satisfied. My dog really likes the good.

This food is nutritionally appropriate for my dogs. It is made in the usa and is supplemented with antioxidants and vitamins.

The kernels are a bit smaller than our regular brand of purina. Our dog eats it, seems to enjoy, and doesn't have any digestive issues. She is a little overweight but i think it is because i feed her the soft food as well.

Cons

The bag of food was ripped and missing half of the dog food. Spilled everywhere. They're just fillers.

Corn, not a terribly nutritious main ingredient, is the #1 ingredient. The third ingredient is corn gluten meal. The eighth ingredient is beet pulp.

The dog likes it better than other brands of dry food and its really hard to beat the price for the quantity you get

I know pedigree doesn’t have the same reputation as other more expensive brands
