Pros

Plastic is great if you don't want to add weight to your firearm. Not to the same level as magpul polymer rails, but these work fine for mounting lights or tape switches. Added to a project to use an mck style thumb stop for a modified grip.

Bought these to add on to my 7. They look good and found no finishing blemishes or defects. Threading has no defects. They fit perfectly on my ar10.
