The pages give little descriptions at the bottom for what you should write and what kind of picture to go with it

For halloween you could add pumpkin stickers and it wouldnt throw off the page and the same for christmas red and green wouldnt clash with the page

Along with the book comes the ink pad for the foot prints and hand prints which is what caught my eye about the book

Again for the price this baby book should be included with box not sold separately

I really like that it doesnt have teddy bears abc blocks or other details all over it feels like it wont terribly date itself over the years
