Pros

Calorie package is bulkier than other products out there. I wish they had internal water lines rather add 1 & 1/3 cups (an example) boiling water. It's something i use with all dehydrated meals to hold the heat longer.

This certainly isn't my favorite taste compared to most of the mtnhs options i've had, but i will gladly pack this again if i have the kids in tow. Very happy with it aside from being slightly overpriced imo.

Flavor is decent, a bit on the greasy side. Buttery flavor. My favorite is the marinara one.

Do the math. Will buy more. Buy this with confidence. Don't be afraid to try something new.

Cons

Many buyers are confused by the only 3/4 cup water for re-hydrating the meals. Arrived in january 2020 with an expiration date of october 2024. Sent back for replacement, replacement was opened.

Only thing was with the suggested amount of water it was slightly soupy

The second one didnt turn out as good but im blaming that entirely on me not giving it enough time to rehydrate not a defect in the product

I will use this product on a 3day backpacking trip in grand canyon with my son and sonsinlaw

Exceeded all my expectations and everyone’s expectations

But this really didn’t need extra water which was already less than 6oz if i remember

High in calories and protein were a requirement for me and peaks competitors missed the mark
