If you use the base to attach to the plate obstructs the battery door

Then you have to take the plate fully off to change the battery or access the memory card which is a faff

I use it on an olympus omd em5 mkii and this is absolutely the right size for the camera and theres no chance of the camera accidentally becoming un hitched unless the user is careless

Theres no getting away from the fact that peak design kit is outrageously expensive

What drives me mad is that the strings on the anchor points keep getting twisted and tangled on some cameras when mounted to camera studsmountings that dont swivel
