Pros

In the past, i was sold on using the furminator comb to remove loose hair and eliminate matting. My cat gets irritable with over-brushing so the speed at which this comb removes the matts is quite beneficial.

This does wonders on my forever shedding corgi. Works well on our black lab, gets the pesky undercoat. Great for my great dane and rottiedoodle.

Pro groomer here. I am amazed how great this tool is. Short strokes long strokes holy moly great googly moogly… quite a work in progress.

Cons

It is much too small and has no effect on getting her undercoat brushed out. Your better off purchasing that brush as this one will be very uncomfortable for your fur babies.

Border collies have double coats that should never be cut or clipped. It really messed up my dogs previously beautiful coat.

We have an australian shepherd mix and this gets out hair better than other brushes and tools we’ve used to include the furminator

I was going to buy the expensive german one but having the two different tooth patterns is key to getting the job done
