Let me start by saying i have a 22 pound cockapoo named chuchu who used to hate when i attempted to brush him

It cuts gently through matts and tangles and the teeth dont poke his skin

I had to work at it over the course of a day or two to eliminate kittys stress but it worked very well

This dematting comb works great to break up any mats before brushing

I used a dematting spray along with it and the two together helped getting the worse pieces out

I had another dematting comb but she would fight me and it took forever to get the mats out

It took several finger cuts before i learned not to remove the hair on the comb by hand
