I do like how it looks very much and the fact it is a pad and not a book is very handy however i didn’t realise that it was what most watercolour paper manufacturers call a ‘block’ i wanted a little book but with watercolour paper in to take outside sketching with my portable tin of paints and my travel brush which is completely my own fault but i’m actually happy that i made this mistake because the paper will not buckle when i use it if i leave it on the pad until the paint is dry it should stay totally flat

They are thoroughly glued around all edges and this pad comes together with a matching plastic knife to separate the paper from the pad after the painting has dried

The black glue sticks to all sides of the paper and there is no removing it

I found it hard to separate the glued paper though and didn’t get a card separator
