Pros

The metal palette itself is very pretty. Also, the pink case is iconic! The pink tin is beautiful and has a lot of space for mixing.

The set comes in a box wrapped in a chamois cloth. They come in a very pretty box with a faux suede cloth to wipe excess paint/water. There is also a swatch card included in the box.

The colors are vivid and very easy to work with in terms of watercolor techniques. They’re fun to worked with, easy to activate, and very vivid. Fine-tech and rubens are about the same, both activate pretty quick.

Vibrance, saturation, and quality. My only regret is that i did not purchase the 48 colors. Thank you for considering the needs of your loyal customers.

Cons

The box and packaging are super nice but i'm disappointed in the paint. Ended up dumping the paint and putting my winsor newton pans in the cute pink tin. The orange is even cracked. It was touted to be glitter watercolor.

Imo, presentation is just as important as the actual product. Such a disappointing birthday present.

Overall won’t disappoint especially if you’re used to the quality of daniel smith and schmincke watercolors

Im very happy with the product order was processed quickly and received in pristine condition

But i decided to go with the paul rubens set

Packaging was great and colors are beautiful

The english name of the paint is on the colorful wrapper around each paint pan which has to be removed to uncover the paint

The packaging made me feel special pink box and the palette wrapped in a pink cloth inside

Packaging and presentation show the companies pride in their product

I can definitely tell the difference between these and the cheaper brands
