Pros

Went from 4gb to 12 gb ram with this chip. That leaves me with four more gigs than before. It's not hyper fast memory but when combined with an ssd it turbocharged my pc.

Cons

I received a dud. Created many stability issues in my system, was having crashes after installing. All of the same specs, just different ram size. I am not clear why one 8gb would look completely different than the other.
