Pros
Power tape is thick and super durable and super sticky. I see no issues with edges creeping up and the container sits for hours in the sun each day. Seem very sticky; great adhesive. Excellent holding power; sealed leak in plastic cistern.
Cons
It's possible that the poor adhesion resulted from oils leaching from my new redwood benches or 102f temperatures. The tape itself is very thick and the adhesive is extremely sticky, but it is not waterproof! Not for use for anything other than a hair... Read More

Since it was super cold out i did very carefully warm the area up with a heat gun in hopes of better activating the adheisive but as much as it was sticking to my gloves im not sure it was necessary

We have a downspout near the front door porch that in the winter when there is a thaw would leak the water from the melting snow and then that would freeze creating an ice covered hazard
