Pros & Cons
Pros
The story has well-fleshed characters, wonderful knowledge of military tactics, and he leaves room for the human quotient. Nice continuation of the story line.
My only regret is it ended after 4 books. Please hurry with book 5. Not a single mistake.
Reed fleshes out his characters and i generally find their behavior consistent. Reed knows how to craft enthralling stories with deliciously complex characters. Reed is the nom de plume of sterling nixon.
This series has a gripping storyline that keeps you going back for more.
Cons
Only people with immunity to decency will find this entertaining. The description of the events of certain characters trying to travel through a river is jarring.
Highlights
Quality
I would rate this on a par with the best in this genre
I am pleased with my fellow redheads again
With the previous 3 the worst part of reading was all the spelling and grammatical errors
I was able to ignore the editing issues due to the quality of the story
Price
Jaelle is of course a true hero
Competitiveness
As a big plus for post apocalyptic fiction fans this is set many generations after a great catastrophe decimated the modern world
