Pros & Cons

Pros

This connector prevents critters, water and weather from getting inside your rv. The mouse hole is closed and i can keep my cables properly coiled and happy.

If you are tired of shoving the electrical cord into your rv every time you move your rv, this product is for you. Comes with everything you need except butyl sealant tape which they should include.

Great value. Great instructions. If you watch a you tube or two that helps. Got it fast.

Cons

The gasket to use between the trailer and the mount is the wrong size. It is pretty flimsy, especially the hinge that attaches the cover.

Quality

The unit is well made and the installation instructions were easy to follow

The connectors and parts are of high quality and should last for a while

Never failed a few times a year somehow it would get knotted up and i would have to take a side panel off the cabinets to unknot

I always disliked having the shove that cable into the trailer side and now it can easily be stowed in the bay

Price

98 and then offer the 50a version 3 items down for 168

Also amazon why do you list this 30a product for 74

A little expensive for what it is but does work very well

Thats the cost of a 34universal34 kit i suppose

Shipping

So one trip to the local rv supply and i was ready to install

I got tired of having to fish it through the small outlet port under the rv

Packaging/appearance

All the needed parts were organized in the carton and clear instructions were right there too

Would have been 5 stars if not for the packaging and missing screws

Competitiveness

I would also suggest buying dicor butyl tape along with this as it seals much better than silicone and it more forgiving

Went to home depot and purchased some 30a male female replacement ends to use as a comparison troubleshooting tool
