Pros

Shaving style is the same but no pulling, no razor burn, and a very close shave. Use it properly and you'll be rewarded with a beautifully close shave at a very cost conscience price point. For me, it's like shaving via some sort of magical device.

This parker is heavy and long handled. It is well-machined and you must turn the handle many times for it to go all the way in. Grip is secure. I also like the longer handle at 4 opposed to the smaller handle on the gillette.

Excellent shaver. It shaves extremely well. I am fairly new to this wet shaving hobby but find i enjoy experimenting with something different and this semi * fell in that category.

The pieces fit together nicely and blade rests securely in the cap without chatter. This site is really neat because they actually test the level of sharpness. Double edge razor blade sample pack (2x each)https://www.

I was using a parker 96r and was dissatisfied with the quality of the shaves but decided to to try the semislant
