Pros

Fit and finish are outstanding. Build quality is excellent and sturdy. Chrome plating is excellent. The butterfly opens smoothly, the nickel plated is beautiful.

Single blade razor gives a much closer shave than a multi blade cartridge. Astra blades make changing blades very easy.

Shaving is a chore, but now i kind of look forward to it. It makes shaving effortless, and dare i say even pleasurable.

Cons

This razor requires too much cleaning or else it gets rusty. The way you close the razor housing is by simply twisting the end. This irritating problem might only be experienced by lefty like me.

I bought this due to parker being a known brand and the fact that this price is amazing when compared to cvs or something similar

The quality this offers for the price is good and its exceptionally easy to replace blades

Competitiveness

The parker polishes up when i use brasso metal polish

Much cheaper overall compared to conventional junk

Used with proraso soap and i dont think ill be going back to cartridges anytime soon
