Pros & Cons

Pros

It's pretty much a no-brainer if you need this tool, buy it and enjoy it for a lifetime. Thank you so much for quick shipping & following up after the sale.

The rubberized handles are much more comfortable in the hands than the wrenches that came with the tool. This lets me crank down hard on bits without hurting my hand and without any hint of slipping.

Bought this to remove harbor freight paint sprayer head. Great for muzzle devices. Did what it was supposed to do.

This 15mm also fit the pedal nut.

Park wrenches are always good (well, except for a couple chromed models). Perfect tool for the job at hand. No dislikes, performed to my expectations. Can't go wrong with park tool.

Cons

The item is erroneously considered hazardous and cannot be shipped back. Showed signs of grinding. Useless as mammary glands on a boar hog!

Quality

Had to redo my bearings and needed this tool just the right sizewell made and will last a long time

Great wrench and thin for adjusting the preload on my wheel bearings

What i would not attempt to do with it is turn a heavy duty stuck nut such as a pedal

Disregard bad reviews criticizing the tool because it broke when they used it to install or remove a pedal

Price

Worth every penny not to have to go to over priced lbs

Great wrench and at a great price

Price is a little higher but you get what you pay for

Didn’t have to spend 40 on a armorers tool

Shipping

The scw15 they shipped me is exactly what i wanted

Thank you so much for quick shipping following up after the sale

Packaging/appearance

Product arrived before the estimated delivery dateright tool for the right jobin the manufacturer’s packaging brand newwill buy...  Read More

My only minor complaint is it says made in usa on the packaging but it is not stamped on the wrench itself

Written on the package not to be used for axle nuts pedal nuts or other components

Competitiveness

Many companies make bike cone wrenches but those from park tool are high quality tool grade steel with vinyl coated handles

It should considering i have a different sized one from the same brand that still looks new after 5 yrs

The cost is pretty good compared to other similar items

I have a set of park cone wrenches and of course at some point the 17 mm broke

I ordered this as a replacement

The off set is opposite from the circa 1990’s which are very thin and chrome so this new wrench stands out on the peg board

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The new wrench is also heavy feeling and it remains to be seen if it will be too thick to fit between the lock nut cone nut so you can adjust the bearings without pulling the front wheel

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you really take one of these wheels though and spin it it will stop spinning before a much cheaper shimano hub that utilizes cup and cone ball bearings

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Because you have four points of contact and thus friction in a sealed cartridge bearing versus two in a shimano cup and cone system
