The handles are nice and soft and have a silicone covering so no need for hot pads. The felt pads that come with the set, that fit between the pans so they don't scratch the other pan, help keep them from getting dinged as much.

Clear, see through lids with little vent in lid. When done cooking add soap and a quick wipe. The nonstick surface is great and saves so much time.

After 3 hand-washes, the "gold" plating is completely rubbed off in most places. The white handles stain very easily. They look beautiful at first but after having less than a year, they are scraped and the white coating is scratching off.

The gold on the pan lids peels off after first wash. At this point it seems like these pots are just for decoration.
