Pros
This is a well made, heavy base that fits a variety of parasols. It does what it says on the tin. Nicely shaped base and should last a few years.
Base has a plastic rim so it can be rolled into position. The underside has a hollow filled with resin which holds a bolt to screw the holder into. Easy to tip and roll on the edge to reposition.
Cons
Heavy enough, but base too small. Slightest breeze and even a small parasol blows over. Not fit for purpose but have discarded packaging.

This bolt was too far down and was short of connecting with the nut in the holder by quarter of an inch

Excellent service i received an email to say the product had been dispatched but was then contacted by phone a couple of days later to apologise and say the product was out of stock and i could have a refund if i wished

Ordered a base that was the wrong size of diameter on the parasol

Since we ordered it the weather hasnt been terrible but in high winds and rain the parasol base hasnt moved at all

In the recent storms the old base failed as it had corroded through at the base

Inevitably water runs down the parasol column mine is aluminium and wont corrode significantly and the outer steel tube rusts through

It is not suitable nor designed for a freestanding parasol which demands a different kind of support
