The material is floppy. They are dark in color. I use gatsby black film type oil blotters, and these are not the same. The dark color against my pale skin makes discrete blotting more obvious.

When using the paper to wipe your face you cant exactly see the oil because the paper is gray itself and you really cant tell if there was oil there or not
