Pros & Cons
Pros
Build quality is superb. Final finishing and the finish itself are a little less than they used to be but it's pretty minor. Very pleasantly surprised.
Heavier than it looks in the pics, eliminates the need to bolt the attached panavice to the workbench for anything i use it for. It's built solid and mounted to vise perfectly.
With the rubber foot pads on it mine stays put no matter what i'm doing with the vise. It's super-stable now on my bench, and i can move it anywhere without bolts & holes. The standard bases are reasonably stable on their own with enough weight th... Read More
Small parts tray is convenient for holding screws and such. Works great, screw down mount or leave it moveable. The trays are great for holding small parts for projects.
This base approximately triples the diameter of the panavise jr base. It mounts easily to my vice (the 201 junior model) with included hardware. The end result is that you can work with the panvise jr without * it into your workbench.
Cons

Having to drill these holes holes for myself when it would be a simple step in the machining process to drill them during manufacturer means the design needs to have a little bit of additional thought put into it

I thought it might take up too much space on my bench but it doesnt seem to use much more space than the vise alone

My electronics hobby consisted of fighting with that tool more than actually soldering and working on projects
