Pros
The only complaint i have is that the so called lighted remote is not really lighted. No damage. Able to access and download the manual from the internet.
Tapes in lp mode hold 4 hours and play better in my panasonic than other vcrs. Picture quality is better than my jvc 4 head hi fi vcr.
Cons
It is barely out of warranty and just pooped out. Misleading product description. Should be entitled to a partial refund.

I have tried several vhs tapes that i know for a fact work including the one this was sent with and although it displays play stop and eject it does not display the movie or sound

Im using this only to play and transfer old vhs cassettes

There are no longer any analog tv broadcasts so theres no point testing that function or anything related to it recording timers etc
