This hair dryer has an ion feature that reduces the amount of air in the dryer. This means that it dries hair quicker and with less frizz. It is also excellent for drying the dog.
Very comfortable to hold, handle folds up easy for compactness. Excellent japanese craftsmanship. Item was shipped out the next day, but coming from japan took about 2 weeks to arrive but well packaged.
Fairly quiet, like low humming blower. Works fine in standard american outlet.
Miniature poodle loves this hairdryer. Works just like their normal ionity blowdryer but is a bit quieter. It’s perfect and quieter than the dyson.
Cons
This has no gcli switch - mandated by ul - and not even a grounded plug. It says “japan model’ but that is deceiving. Stay away. The dryer was returned for refund and give the seller credit for fast refund.

I was hoping that it wouldnt be underpowered at 1200 watts but this seems to be more than adequate for my wifes hair
12272021 dryer still works and is still quieter than many of the popular brands like revlon and clairol
Just be warned that on us power they will eventually burn out they last much longer on 100v vs 110120v
Let me tell you that this hairdryer is as quiet as your oralb toothbrush and the sound is not as sharp as the toothbrush
