Now that 3rd party battery has failed spectacularly and almost took the camera with it it died and swelled inside the camera

I was lucky that it didnt catch fire or break any internal electronics but i still had to fully disassemble the camera past the mainboard to access the battery compartment and finally pry it out

Only oem batteries from now on its just not worth risking an expensive camera to cheap out on a genuine spare battery

Dmwblc12 battery prices are all over the place and i was actually planning on buying a generic version given that panasonic prices are generally much higher than the generics

Had 3 similar batteries purchased in 2017 and under heavy usage and they are still working but don’t deliver even half of what new ones do
