Anything is better than alkaline batteries and eneloops have a really good history
Although more expensive than other brands i like that they retain there charge longer than other batteries in low drain devices
Some other brands dont always reach a high number of charge cycles but eneloops seem to last

The only downside with these is that sometimes youll encounter poorly designed electronics that cant handle the slightly lower voltage compared to an alkaline

But such things are few and far between and anything that needs more than a small drain will result in the alkalines dropping below nimh voltage anyway

Make sure they are made in japan as the ones we bought sometime ago that were made in china did not last long

I’ve switched everything that runs on batteries to the rechargeable eneloops

Don’t buy the pros you get more charges out of these so they will last longer in the long run
