Edit i am still very happy with this product 3 years later however they cost 3 times more than what i paid right now april 2020 so i was about to order more but it is definitely not worth over eighty four dollars

This product is really 12 tall so if you use 2 x 2x6 you will have about an inch left but the excess metal is shaped in a way that will let you dig in the soil when you put it in its final place so there is no gap under the wood
