Follow all instructions. Works just as advertised. Installation is a little tricky. It does as it was advertised.

It automatically opens and closes at around 68–70°. It opens according to how hot the greenhouse gets. Opens when temps inside the greenhouse hit around 70 degrees, then closes when the temperature cools.

Cons

I am not sure if i need freezing cold weather for this to close. It's easy to accidentally knock it off since there isn't a hinge. While it's supposedly designed to fit the palram snap and grow product, it doesn't! This device only opens 35% when the ... Read More

It should be noted however that this unit is not the one to use with the palram side louver window

I replaced them with the plastic manual operating factory openers to secure the vents in the closed position in the winter
