This Paladineer pack is a really solid option for anyone who is into hiking or biking. It's a nice size for the amount of stuff you will need for a day's worth of playing and exploring in the great outdoors. I live at the foot of the Catskills in upstate New York so I have a lot of trails within a short drive from my house. I don't do heat well so it's imperative that I hydrate well and so I need a good pack to carry my bladder and day snacks.First though, I will note that someone said they believe this is a knock-off because of the Anmeilu name on the pack. If you go to the Paladineer sales page you will see a number of packs with this name on them... as well as others that don't have the Paladineer name on them. I assume they are different lines within the brand. So - as long as you are not stuck on a brand name ... this pack is a great choice.I'm really impressed with the construction and design of this pack. The main pack itself has 3 zippered pockets - one small one that holds my Note 3 (though I'm not sure if that part is waterproof as I could see the screen through it when I had the phone in there) - the second is a deep pocket that runs the full length of the pack and which has a second pocket within it - and the third is actually on the back portion of the pack under the meshed padded lining. (see photos which I will upload after this goes live). In addition to those pockets there is a pocket on each strap that you can put small items in - the larger of the two *barely* holds my Note 3 so it should hold most phones. I like that it has these 2 pockets on the front so I can keep my phone (to consult with the GPS), some gum, car keys, etc handy so I don't have to take my pack off for these things. All the zippers are well stitched in and have a loop to make it easier to grab them with gloves or cold hands. There are several loops to secure items on the back that have a reflective stripe on them. There are also 2 straps that are identified in the listing as Helmet hanging buckles ... as a non-biker I can see them as being useful to strap a windbreaker or similar to the pack. The front straps also have a few loops that could hold items that also have reflective material on them. There are also 2 D-rings and 2 clips to hold your bladder hose.Speaking of the bladder - please not that this pack does NOT include the bladder. This is a mixed blessing as bladders come in all shapes and sizes but the shape of this pack should work with most standard 2 liter bladders. There are 2 pockets that could house the bladder. The one on the main part of the pack has a second pocket so I prefer to use that pocket for other items. The second pocket us under the padded backing. I also prefer to use this pocket for the bladder as I like my water cold so I add a lot of ice, and by having it in that pocket it also helps to keep me cool with the ice against my back on a hot day!Whichever pocket you use to hold the bladder, the design allows for the hose to be fed through to the top of the straps... some packs don't have this feature so you have to feed the hose through the zipper which compromises your pack if it rains. The back and straps are well designed for comfort and adjust easily and well to different physiques.I can see this becoming my go-to pack for most of my hikes ... I have one that holds more but it's heavier to start with so if I don't need to carry a lot, this will be the pack I grab on the way to the mountains.I received this for a discounted rate in exchange for my time to work with this product so I can write a fair and honest review... however, I only accept review items I need so I can give them a real trial, and thus my opinions and experiences are a real and true reflection of my experience with the product. I have received no compensation and I don't have any kind of personal/business relationship with the seller. I hope my review helps you in your purchase decisions! Read Less
