The pads in the silver lining are thinner then the jerrys bumpers which means if the skater is tiny they could wear them under skate pants or even a skate skirt without looking like they have a full diaper

If your skater falls forward toe pick in the ice and has frequent injuries to the top of their hip bone i would suggest checking out the snow boarding shorts with hip protection or add bunga pads to the skat
