They do give the higher thumb lift but theres an amount of slippage making a delay in reaction time for quick reactions

Having the ability to choose different heights for your thumbstick is definitively beneficial in gaming however i found the the taller thumbstick grips fell off after i played for a little while especially after i held the thumbstick towards a specific direction for a longer period of time
