    I think this happens for two reasonsone our hairs are so fine that they actually get caught in the small tiny working parts of these kinds of clips cracks that a thicker hair shaft is simply too large to get caught in

    In fact i have to wind electrical tape onto new brushes where the handle meets the head because individual hairs get caught in the crack there all the time if i dont seal it up
