Its not a round cord but a sort of flattened cord

Its also braided so its not very flexible but i wouldnt say its firm either

If you get a bad one i guarantee its only because someone in quality control messed up

In the past i have had to purchase a aux cord with a grounding unit on it whenever i plugged in my iphone into my car to charge and had the aux cord in listening to music or something there was always an annoying high pitch ungrounded sound
