These soft straps are exactly as advertised. They are thick, tough axle straps. Like the protective covers.

Was able to thread them under the rear axle brake lines right next to the tires on my xj so they didnt smash those and ran the straps straight back

I had to wiggle them to make sure they were evenly strapped around this portion of the front axle
