They store for decades if cared for in a container. They are non toxic and disposable in. An un air-conditioned garage for those years.

Cons

After just 6 hours, it was noticeably dimmer, after about 12 hours, i estimate it had lost half its initial brightness. It was extinguished completely after about 24 - 26 hours.

Oh holy cow. Don't buy from amazon. Very disappointed.

I cant speak for the current quality of the sticks but the ones made 20 years ago are great

Though not usable for the purpose you would use a flash light

Cyalume should go back to the boxes to avoid damage to the product in shipment
