Pros & Cons
Pros
Maintain them by using a good brand battery and keep them fresh. Then find and cave in all the surrounding gopher tunnels and pockets. They are expensive because they fequre d size but better than chemicals and traps.
Love these. Very pleased with the product. If the technology works then the quality construction of this product leaves me feeling confident of success.
I'm curious to see what happens as the summer progresses. Key is to save the invoice as proof. Stay tuned for second report.
Cons
Vibrations are almost non-existent. Next day there was a new mound of dirt right next to the product. Has not deterred the moles.
Highlights
Quality
I havent had any success with the gold electromechanical type but these have worked pretty good for me
I put a small desiccant pouch in there with the batteries in case of moisture
We experimented with the solar variety but they fail in a year or two
Check the batteries monthly regardless of quality the sunlight drains the batteries
Price
Yes it cost me about 300 but now i do not have tunnels at all
