Sturdy and real leather. The leather is a bit stiff but that is an indication that it is quality leather. It's not the highest quality leather i've ever seen, but it looks good.

Strap is nice looking but feels very cheap and stiff. Do not recommend this product.

There were also some little black pieces that came off the back but rubbing the back of the strap down with a cloth got rid of all of them

Ive got fancier straps that are softer so a little more comfortable but they cost 23x as much as this one
