Also like others said magnets could just be a tad strongernot earth magnet strong with just the magnets its easy to move this around probably reason for the hook

So i would say this is not thick its almost or about the same thickness as my chamois towel maybe a hair thicker

Most of the magnets on magnetic fender covers are useless

Other covers even if they have magnets or grooves to hold the cover in place do not stay on while working
