Pros

The only drawback is that it's more of a deep teal than the picture on amazon. Worth the price because it's made durable and made to withstand more than other scales.

Second scale uses 2 aaa batteries, no bending to see around body parts just to view the weight display. It weighs more than our last one, which my wife thought might no longer be accurate. Digital scales provide readouts to one-tenth of a pound.

Cons

It is so frustrating. Sometimes it won't come on at all, other times it shows numbers jumping around while no one is on it. Blows through batteries though. Replaced battery twice with no effect.
