Pros & Cons
Pros
This product is amazing. What a fantastic product. It's easy to use and for the cost, it's hard to beat. Overall, great product. Was very pleased.
Longer it’s on darker it gets. Works better than birchwood casey. Haven't tried blending with existing blue too much yet.
Used for bluing the barrel and hardware of a muzzle-loader. Finished a model winchester 68 beautifully. I read a brownell instruction video that said you don't need to prepare the barrel because the product will take care of rust.
The durability is yet to be determined but i rated it high. The ease of use quality of finish just makes this the ideal product for very close to factory finish.
Cons
Only a few polka dots of color after sitting on it for hours. Stirred product, reapplied.
