The knife did a good job of cutting the vegetables but was a slight challenge with the chicken
I like oxo products and am glad to have the chance to review this product
This knife is really excellent you just wont get 30 years out of it like you do with the higher end knives
The blade is a true 8 inches long with the handle measuring about 4 12 inches

Its got a nice grip the standarized shape and size takes and holds an edge very well and the price is about as low as possible

They made great choices in the compromises needed for a knife at this price

But i only really started using it after it was properly sharpened on my chefs choice 120 sharpener because it isnt very sharp out of the box
