I cleaned off the mounting surface and test fit them then i applied glue and put them on with a twisting motion to spread out the glue
I glued them to the bar and throttle tube with 5min epoxy

It involved cutting one bit of rubber off on each side of the grips so they wouldn’t foul on the bar end weights

I got the older grips off easily using wd40 and twisting and pulling but installing the actual grips didn’t go as well

They’re expensive but i figure i might be paying a bit for support if they ever give up the ghost within the warranty period though some people say they are hard to hold to their claims

Made this a pain in the ass to install on 2017 cbr1000 first off there is no place to hide all that bulky cable without securing it back to itself
