Water leak sensors work with this valve. Uses a standard wifi app for control. Linked to smartthings thru the smart life app. Works with alexa and smartthings.
My shutoff valve is on 1/2 copper tubing.
Cons
The power isn't enough to turn the handle. When the valve is just about to be fully closed or open, the torque gives out. Need to program each detector as a separate routine as alexa does not allow a group of detectors to be programmed once for valve ... Read More
Installation manual is poor and has a ridiculously low resolution of a diagram. The pipe clamp is too large to effectively clamp tight on the valve. Clumsy mounting items and their mounting area is very limited.
Returned item. Purchased on amazon - they have no warranty information. Will contact amazon tomorrow.

First the cons the bracket that mounts to the pipe with ss hose clamps was slightly bent in shipment i guess

One side of the bracket has two 6mm rivet nuts and the holes on the other side did not align the holes are fairly tight tolerance so wiggling wouldnt work

I had to clamp one side of the bracket in a vice and use an adjustable wrench to slightly torque the bracket to bring the holes into alignment

I intended to measure the force needed to operate the valve as well as the force the actuator put out using a digital weigh scale at right angles but in the end i just slapped it together to see if id get smoke of action
