The enclosure was constantly disconnecting from my mac anytime i tried to read or write large files

The disks also kept failing softraid certification and throwing up errors

I contacted tech support and they gave some ideas but i ultimately discovered the samsung drive was faulty

I returned and replaced with another sandisk and that relieved the disconnecting issue but i was still left with the certifying problem from the softraid software included with the enclosure

Softraid will tell you its either a faulty drive or perhaps a hardware issue somewhere

Since all three drives were failing and two of them were ones ive been using for over a year i took a look at the hardware causing the problem

Reran the certification on all the drives and they passed
