Other than the wonky plug, the coffeemaker works just fine. Handy adapters especially since i have a hard time bending down to start/stop my small appliances.

After purchasing a new threeway coffeemaker carafe pod and refillable pod i discovered that the plug for the machine did not fit into our new condos arcfault interrupter outlets in our kitchen and kitchen island

The only way to turn off the coffee maker was to unplug it

This proved impossible as the large blade i think this is the hot side would not fit in the outlet slots

I even had the condo builders service manager and one of their electricians test the outlet and they concluded the plug was faulty

The manufacturer has denied any responsibility for this oversight in making an appliance that does not work with modern codecompliant outlets so i was pleased that i found this switch as an inexpensive workaround

It served it’s purpose but can fall off from wall receptacle due to its bulkness
