Its whisper quiet in fact its so quiet that you do kind of have to watch it to see when it stops boiling the light goes off

When i bought this model both the listing and the little instruction guide say that it beeps when it turns off but there isnt a beep and i see now that the listing has been corrected to indicate that

So far ive just been rinsing it vigorously after each use and ill do the vinegar and water boiling thing that they recommend in the guide but its ok

The lid does not open completely wide so that if you have a wide edged sprayer type faucet it will not fit into the pot to fill it with water

The pot lights up green while it is still heating and turns red when it is done
