Pros

White ovente kettle is high in quality. The lid is secure enough to not fall out when you tip it to pour, but not so hard to get out that you have to struggle. It has a removeable screen/strainer in the spout.

It is just as gorgeous in real life, if not more so than in the photos. Love the all metal construction. I get so many compliments on it when people come over!

The switch lights up a really cute blue colour when you turn it on. Love the bright blue switch light. I only wish it had a retractable cord.

The handle is sturdy (not flimsy) and the handle has a nice grip. Its cool to touch handle feels sturdy. The handle has an excellent design so that it doesn't get hot and you never risk burning your hand when you pick it up.

Cons

The kettle boils water, but it doesn't shut off as it should. Don't buy the painted kettle at the very least. The white on the handle and lid are not the same colors as the kettle.

We usually fill it less than half full and it goes from start to boil in about four minutes. I say fuzz because it sounds and looks like that. The outside shiny material is just foil.

Customer service is of no help. Without a video. Without exchanging email. It's not how it was advertised. Omg - the worst purchase ever.

I bought solely based on aesthetic appeal but honestly it’s a little overpriced in my opinion
