I almost did not purchase outwitting the devil after reading the reviews about the poor editing but my admiration for napoleon hill won out

I have to echo the numerous complaints about the editing by sharon lechter

Not only did i find her insertions into the pages completely unnecessary and nothing more than a distraction it was constantly annoying how she felt that hill could not convey his message on his own so she in her arrogance had to explain it for him or try to prompt the reader to think the whole intent of his book

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It is disgusting to me that she actually removed some of hills content to insert her own arrogance

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I listen to a lot of motivational speakers and podcasts and was pleased to see some of the principles hill championed back in the 1930s being reiterated by my favorite speakers today even if they do not mention him directly

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The one disappointing thing for me personally about the book was that back in 1938 hill indicated in the book that the fear of causing controversy over its content might prevent it from being published
