The book starts with claire and her husband frank. Claire is a nurse. It shakes claire a bit, but she lets it go. Because claire still wants to return to frank.

Cons

The main character is beaten and * and it's framed as romance. The character revealed by claire in the book is repugnant. This kind of interaction isn't *; it's abusive and traumatic, and it should not be romanticized like this.

The book skips from chapter 18 to chapter 25. This continues through chapter 28 where it reverts back to chapter 22. The writing is full of cliches.
