I bought the cover with the wind shield and was happy with the quality of my purchase
Most other covers have okay quality but this one is really and you can tell it is a good quality product
We think that the glass lid should unequivocally be included with the original fire pit assembly
They were delivered about a week apart which delayed assembly somewhat other than that i am totally satisfied
Price
The products are excellent and well worth the cost

The only issue that i encountered was i ordered the firepit and accessories at the same time

Our new firepit coffee table allows us to do this even more since it warms up the area so nicely

You need to remove some of the glass stones before the top lays flat if you are using the wind guard the glass top lays only on the edge instead of having a lip to set it in to

Unfortunately i learned the glass lid insert is very fragile and the original insert i had shattered into many pieces my responsibility

The rocks have to lie evenly if you are placing the lid directly on the fire pit for it to fit correctly

If you have the wind shield as seen in picture on the left the amount of rocks doesn’t matter
