Well after returning another battery for what i thought was defective i am glad to report after logging on and updating the chrome os the battery is charging
Not to mention the battery was nearly fully charged which helped the whole logging on part
The problem i was having with the first battery was that it would only charge for a couple of second and then the blue light would come on and it would stop charging
The instructions online said to press the power button for five seconds with the battery out and while still holding power button to replace the battery and the os update message would automatically come up and then press the space bar to answer yes
